President Jim Patterson has devoted his entire career to insurance
and occupational health and safety.
After
graduating from Laurentian University Jim entered Manulife Financial's
management program. In 1985 Jim purchased an insurance agency
specializing in employee benefits. He expanded the company's
services by developing a human resource management system including
WSIB representation and occupational health and safety. In 1999
Jim started Safeway Human Resource Management and during the
next two years developed an occupational health and safety program
management system designed for small business. He sold Safeway,
relocated and started J & D Patterson Management Inc. based
in Guelph, Ontario.
Jim
leads a team focused on helping small employers with compliance
issues and management of occupational health and safety programs.
